Biscuit, Erin, Elizabeth and CeCe...adding a little kick to the coco. The folks at Starbucks welcomed us with open arms and didn't want us to leave without sharing our "recipe."

Biscuit and Erin gives their hot chocolates a kick ON the subway and then again in the station.

Macy's Christmas windows - 2007. The pictures can't do the detail justice. That's Elizabeth and CeCe checking out a Santa display that literally flips upside down. Having them in the picture shows just how big the windows are.
This is how one of the MACY windows FLIPS!

More of the windows at Macy's and then uptown at Radio City Music Hall (where the Christmas Spectacular show is celebrating it's 75th anniversary). There was a picture of a older gentleman in last week's Time Out New York magazine who is now in his 80's and has been every year since the beginning.

More pictures from the windows a Sak's 5th Avenue. My favorite is the little top hat wearing snowman made out of NYC subway maps.

The huge Swaroski star hanging over 5th Avenue at 57th Street. The Bergdorf windows. The pictures haven't been altered...the windows are incredibly detailed. The windows are themed after the Elements. You can see how big the windows are in the photo that shows the window outlined in garland. Yes, that's an elephant in the window.

The "earth" Element and the beautiful side entrance of Bergdorf Goodman's.
My first attempt at sharing a video. This is a partial clip of the snowflakes at Sakes 5th Avenue. You can go to YouTube.com and search for "Saks" and "Snowflakes" or some variation on theme and see more it. I may go back down there and try and record all of it.

I spent a couple days last week in Nashville, TN with Antuan and the Radio City Rockettes. Because of work schedules and life…this is as much time as we will have together for Christmas.

It was a full visit…I saw the show (twice)…did a little Christmas shopping…ate sushi (!) at Virago…visited the Adventure Science Center (with a 1000 kids running around), bowling, etc. Very full days.

Antuan had a lot of shows…so I was on my own a bit. That’s when I did some Christmas shopping. I also saw the Will Smith movie, I Am Legend.

I’m going to keep this entry brief…I think the pictures tell more of the story of my Nashville getaway.

My second day in Nashville (last Friday - 12/14/07), we hit the Adventure Science Center of Nashville. Very cool. I snapped a picture of the electric static ball and didn't even know there was a small, cute kid on the other side. The center is almost like a jungle gym that goes up through the middle of the building...there's a shot of each of us crossing a rope bridge into the middle.

There are several areas that talk about the human body...this is a game where different food groups (fruits, breads, dairy, etc.) pop up and you pound them. There are also naughty things like candy and soda and you don't want to pound them. Here's Antuan showing of his impressive high score. Then I stepped up and took a whack (pardon the pun) at it and set a brand new high score across the board.
